Min. for the Environment

BRIEF // Design a set of three booklets, aimed at educating and informing the general public about climate change. They should have an engaging and positive feel, focusing on what can be done rather than dwelling on the negative impacts.
SOLUTION // A key concern when creating the booklets was that they should have a strong level of interest right from the cover. Each one employs a special embellishment or feature on the cover to enhance its message. The blue booklet uses a spot UV to convey the idea that it can be difficult getting the facts about climate change. The green booklet has a die-cut through to the first page
highlighting the concept of seeing ahead. An emboss on the yellow booklet shows that even a small act can have a noticeable difference. Inside, an emphasis was placed on the impact of climate change on daily life as key messages were reinforced by incorporating them into the photographic images.
